The short version: your business stays yours

Privacy Policy

Another Grownup is designed to be useful without knowing who you are. The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking, and it does not send your app activity to us.

About this policy

This policy explains how Another Grownup (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Another Grownup iPhone app, visit anothergrownup.com, or contact us for support.

Information the app collects

The app does not collect personal information or send your activity to us. It does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking technology, or third-party advertising or analytics software.

Your choices and preferences may be saved locally on your device so the app works the way you expect. That information stays on your device and is not available to us. You can remove it by deleting the app from your device.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app may schedule a local notification for a timer or countdown. These notifications are created and handled on your device. You can change notification permission at any time in your iPhone settings.

Website information

If you choose “Allow analytics,” this website uses Google Analytics to help us understand how people find and use it. Google Analytics may collect pages visited, session statistics, approximate location, referring pages, and browser and device information. It uses first-party cookies, including _ga and measurement-specific_ga_... cookies, to distinguish users and sessions. We do not send Google your name, email address, or app activity.

The Google Analytics tag stays off and sends no analytics data unless you allow it. We save your choice in your browser so we can remember it. You can change that choice at any time using “Analytics settings” in the footer. Google's handling of Analytics information is described in its data safeguards andprivacy policy.

Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may also process basic technical information—such as an IP address, browser type, and request details—to deliver, operate, and protect the site.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to respond, provide support, protect our rights, or comply with the law. We keep support messages only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. You may ask us to delete a support message by emailing us.

Children's privacy

Another Grownup is made for parents and caregivers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app or website. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Sharing and selling information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for targeted advertising. Information may be handled by service providers only when needed to host the website, provide consented website analytics, deliver email, provide support, or comply with legal obligations. Google acts as our analytics provider only after you allow analytics.

Your choices

You can remove locally stored app information by deleting the app, turn off notifications in your iPhone settings, and ask us to delete information you sent in a support email. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because the app does not send us your data, we generally have no app data to provide or delete. You can also allow or decline Google Analytics—or change an earlier choice—using “Analytics settings” in the website footer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app, website, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how the app handles information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
